BOZEMAN - The Three Forks man accused of breaking his young son's arm in October was sentenced to 30 days in the Gallatin County Detention Center Monday.
Bryce Alan Duval, 19, was charged with criminal endangerment after breaking his 4-week-old son's arm because he would not stop crying.
The Department of Health and Human Services has been monitoring Duval since the incident. A representative testified on Monday saying, "It is important that Duval has contact with his son."
Judge Mike Salvagni said "Duval did seriously hurt his son and did not think the incident was a mistake."
Duval will be on probation for three years. He is also required to attend therapy and anger management.
