Ballots Coming in for School Board Election

Posted: Updated:

Missoula County elections officials said they've received about 16,500 ballots out of the nearly 66,000 that were sent out for the Missoula County Public Schools election. Voters must return them by Tuesday's election.

Two K-12 technology levy increases are on this year's county-wide ballots, which were sent out about three weeks ago.

The levies will pay for replacement computers and other classroom electronics, and staff development for technology.

There are also five seats open on the school Board of Trustees, and nine candidates have filed to run in the election.

The election takes place on Tuesday.

If you haven't mailed your ballot back in the mail, you can still drop it off tomorrow between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday

Drop off locations are at Russell, Rattlesnake, Lowell and Paxson Elementary Schools.
