$25M Donation Leads to Groundbreaking

Posted: Updated:

BOZEMAN - The city of Bozeman continues to grow and so does Montana State University.

On Friday, MSU broke ground on the new Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship building, formally known as MSU College of Business.

The building is named for Jake Jabs, a MSU alum who donated $25 million to help fund the construction. Jabs said it feels great to be contributing to the growth of MSU.

"It's an absolutely fantastic feeling," said Jake Jabs, Building Benefactor. "We are already seeing a lot of interest in the entrepreneurship. I'm talking to the faculty and they're saying a lot of students are interested in their entrepreneurship school."

The building is scheduled to open in 2015.
