Inside the backpack were numerous pieces of jewelry, a collapsible baton and lots of broken pieces of glass. Bockelmann used the baton to smash the window of the store and grabbed as many expensive items that he could.

The stolen jewelry, totaling an excess of $25,000.00 was placed on Police property. Bockelmann was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail for 2nd Degree Burglary and 1st Degree Theft.
