    Four people are in the Lake County Jail after a woman was found unconscious and badly injured Saturday morning.  According to an email from the Lake County Sheriff's Office a woman in her early 20's was found near McDonald Lake in the Mission Mountains.  The email says the identity of the woman was initially unknown but investigators believe the incident involved a vehicle based on the scene and where the woman was found.  The woman is in the ICU at Kalispell Regiona...

    DOON, Iowa (AP) - A railroad official says 14 of 32 derailed oil tanker cars in the northwest corner of Iowa dumped an estimated 230,000 gallons (870,619 liters) of crude oil into floodwaters, with some making its way to nearby rivers. BNSF spokesman Andy Williams confirmed the details Saturday.

    Missoula dog swept away by floodwaters returns to shore safely

    One dog in Western Montana was swept away by the flooding in the Missoula area, but managed to get himself to safety.  Missoula resident Genevieve King posted on Facebook that her red and white brindle pit bull got swept away by floodwaters near Tower Street. The dog eventually swam to shore all the way at the Kelly Island fishing access nearly 2 miles away.  King's post said her dog was found soaking wet and shivering, but the pitbull did not seem to be injured....
