    SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Spokane Valley Fire Department responded to a report of structure fire at 13307 E Bitterroot Ln in the Elk Ridge Heights neighborhood Friday evening. Firefighters say everyone made it out safely. When they arrived, they found a large amount of fire coming from the 3 car attached garage. Because of their quick work, the fire was under control within minutes. The occupants of the home reported smelling smoke while

    SPANGLE, Wash. - Liberty High School students in Spangle helped their choir teacher pull off the ultimate flash mob proposal.  Choir Director Morgan Pendon proposed to his girlfriend Jamie Yotz at a reception following the high school choir’s winter concert.  Members of the choir stood up and began to sing Yotz’s favorite song, “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley.     OTHELLO, Wash. - Early Friday morning, Othello Police tried to stop a stolen vehicle within the city. The driver refused to stop and led officers on a pursuit southbound on Hwy. 24. The driver drove in excess of 100 mph and lost control near the bend by Muse Rd. The vehicle went off the roadway and collided with a utility pole. The driver got out of the vehicle and took off. Adams County Deputies and K-9 Unit were called in to assist Othello Police.
