    POST FALLS, Idaho - On April 19,  at approximately 11:45 AM, a Kootenai County Sheriff’s Deputy tried to pull over a driver seen speeding in the area of W. Seltice Way near N. Pleasant View Rd. in Post Falls. Deputies say the driver refused to pull over and a pursuit followed throughout the west side of Kootenai County. Speeds at times exceeded 100 mph during the pursuit.     BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Three Billings police officers have been suspended without pay for having sex on city property.  Police Chief Rich St. John says two officers were suspended for two weeks for having sex with a civilian employee of the department while they were on duty. A third was suspended for a week for having sex with the same woman while he was off duty.  St. John declined to identify the officers until the city attorney

    MOSES LAKE, Wash. - Wednesday morning, detectives with the Moses Lake Police Department Street Crimes Unit served a search warrant in the 1200 block of Ashley Way. Inside, detectives found a modified AK-47 rifle, a .22 caliber rifle, and over an ounce of methamphetamine.  Detectives also located several items of stolen property at the residence, including a Honda generator reported stolen over a decade ago.  31 year-old Wilson R.

    KETCHUM, Idaho (AP) - A fire has heavily damaged a lodge at the base of one of the nation's premier ski destinations in central Idaho. Sun Valley Resort's Warm Springs Lodge in Ketchum at the base of the ski area on Bald Mountain remained an active fire Thursday morning with multiple firefighting agencies at the scene. Sun Valley Resort spokeswoman Kelli Lusk says the fire started late Wednesday. She says there are no reported injuries and no damage estimate. Flames appeare...

    OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Teachers in Washington are supposed to tell authorities when they believe a student has suffered abuse or neglect. But Washington's Supreme Court says that requirement doesn't necessarily apply when a teacher's own child is the victim. In an 8-1 ruling Thursday, the court dismissed a Pierce County case against a teacher who failed to immediately report that her daughters told her their stepfather had molested them.

    Community comes together at candlelight vigil for Medical Lake students

    MEDICAL LAKE, Wash. - It was an incredibly emotional night in Medical Lake as a candlelight vigil was held in this community that continues to heal. The Medical Lake family gathered tonight to be with each other and be there for each other.  On Saturday, 17-year-old Journey Tueller was killed, and three other students, Laci Sica, Savannah Sutton and Hailey Gross were injured in a crash as they were on their way to catch a team bus.
